About

ICIT Account is a user account management system for accessing university information services. Users can manage sign-in and account recovery information here.

User account types are categorized as follows:

  • Personnel account: issued for active university personnel with status "Working" from the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) managed by the Human Resource Management Department, Office of the President. (https://hris.kmutnb.ac.th/)
  • Retirement account: issued for retired personnel with status "Resigned due to retirement" from the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) managed by the Human Resource Management Department, Office of the President. (https://hris.kmutnb.ac.th/)
  • Student account: issued for currently enrolled students with status "Studying" from the Student Registration Information System (reg.kmutnb.ac.th), managed by Academic Services Division, Office of the President. (https://reg.kmutnb.ac.th/)
  • Exchange student account: issued for international exchange students from the exchange student database managed by the International Cooperation Center, Office of the President.
  • Temporary account: issued for adjunct lecturers currently teaching in the active semester.
  • Guest account: issued for temporary users or specialists requested by organizational units.

Username format

  • Personnel account (Personnel): first name + first character of last name. Example ICIT ACCOUNT = icita
  • Retirement account (Retirement): first name + first character of last name. Example ICIT ACCOUNT = icita
  • Student account (Students): s + student ID. Example s6902041520261
  • Temporary account (Adjunct lecturer): first name + . (dot) + first character of last name. Example ICIT ACCOUNT = icit.a
  • Guest account (Temporary user): first name + _ (underscore) + first character of last name. Example ICIT ACCOUNT = icit_a

Student Account Activation

To activate the student account, the steps follow:

  1. Click Student Account Activation from the menu bar on the left or click on the links http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/site/activate-account
  2. Select Student Account Activation
  3. Review student benefits and services, then click Student Account Activation.
  4. Enter Student number, Identification number and birth date in the form to activate an account. Then click the Submit button.
  5. Enter the email for account recovery. Then click the Next button.
  6. Enter the password and confirm the password. Then click the Next button.
  7. Verify the accuracy of the information and read the terms of use completely. If the information is incorrect, click the Back button to edit. If everything is correct, click the Confirm button.
  8. Wait until the display shows the status of the account was created. This may take a while. Do not need to refresh the browser.
  9. When system creates an account successfully, click the Sign in button to test the account and review user information.

Note Students eligible for activation must have student IDs from 30 onward.

Personnel Account Activation

ICIT Account is provided and managed by the Institute of Computer and Information Technology (ICIT), with service points available across all three campuses.

Account activation methods

  • Self-service account activation
    • Personnel Account Activation
      Personnel who want to activate their account by themselves must already have information available in the HRIS system (for newly appointed personnel, this may take approximately 1 month).
  • Submit an account activation form to ICIT
    1. Download the ICIT Account activation form for personnel
    2. Complete the form correctly and submit it to the Institute of Computer and Information Technology through your official document workflow.
    3. ICIT will create your account and send the result back to the email address provided in the form.

To activate the personnel account, the steps follow:

  1. Click Account Activation from the menu bar on the left or click the link http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/site/activate-account
  2. Select Personnel Account Activation
  3. Review the account benefits and click Activate Personnel Account
  4. Enter Firstname, Lastname, Identification number/Passport number, birth date and verification code in the form to activate an account. Then click the Submit button.
  5. Check your personal information. Then click the Next button.
  6. Confirm account name.
  7. Enter the email for account recovery. Then click the Next button.
  8. Enter the password and confirm the password. Then click the Next button.
  9. Verify the accuracy of the information and read the terms of use completely. If all information is incorrect, click the Back button to edit. If all information is correct, click the Confirm button.
  10. Wait until the display shows Registration Completed. This may take a while. Do not need to refresh the browser.
  11. When the system creates an account successfully, click the Signin button to test the operation of the account and check your information.

How to change password

  1. Sign in from the top-right menu or click the link http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/user/login
  2. Go to the Profile page.
  3. Open the Security tab.
  4. Select Change Password.
  5. Enter new password, confirm new password, and current password, then click Submit.

How to Update email for recovery password

  1. Sign in from the top-right menu or click the link http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/user/login
  2. Go to the Profile page.
  3. Open the Security tab.
  4. Select Change email.
  5. Review current email, enter new email, confirm with current password, then click Submit.

Forgot password

  1. Click Account Recovery from the left menu or click the link http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/recovery/index
  2. Select Reset Password.
  3. Enter username, ID card or passport number, and verification code, then click Submit.
  4. The system will take you to the new password page and send an OTP to your recovery email.
  5. Click Send OTP or Resend OTP to request a new code, then enter the 6-digit OTP from your email.
  6. Set new password, confirm password, read and accept the user agreement, then click Submit.

Forgot account name

  1. Click Account Recovery from the left menu or click the link http://account-dev.kmutnb.ac.th/recovery/index
  2. Select Find Username.
  3. Enter account recovery information, then click Submit.
  4. The system will display your account information.
